How Old Is Alan Ritchson

So, I was binge-watching Titans the other day, and I found myself wondering, "Who's the guy playing Hawk? He's got this whole 'I'm not a day over 25' vibe going on, but I swear I've seen him in something from the '90s." Well, my curious little mind just had to know. So, let's dive into the age-old question: How old is Alan Ritchson?

First things first, let's get the basics out of the way. Alan Ritchson was born on January 28, 1984, in Grand Forks, North Dakota. That makes him a Capricorn, in case you're into that astrology stuff. Now, I know what you're thinking, "That can't be right, he looks way too young to be 38!" Well, my friend, that's the magic of good genes and great skincare. But let's not get ahead of ourselves, we've got some time-traveling to do.

Back to the '90s

Remember when I mentioned you might have seen him in something from the '90s? Yep, young Alan got his start in the entertainment industry at the tender age of 12. He appeared in a few episodes of Sabrina, the Teenage Witch and One Life to Live. I know, right? Who would've thought that the guy who played Aquaman in Batman v Superman was once a child actor on a sitcom about a teenage witch?

But Alan wasn't just a pretty face on the small screen. He also dabbled in modeling. He was even named one of the "50 Most Beautiful People" by People magazine in 2004. I mean, can you blame them? The guy's got the kind of looks that make you question your own existence. But I digress.

Fast Forward to the 2000s

In the early 2000s, Alan made the leap from TV to the big screen. He had small roles in movies like Smallville and The American. But it wasn't until 2008 that he really started making waves. He played Thad Castle in the movie The Guard, a role that would eventually lead to him reprising the character in the TV series Blue Mountain State.

Now, I know what you're thinking, "That's all well and good, but how does this help us determine his age?" Well, my impatient friend, stick with me. We're getting there.

Superhero Status

In 2011, Alan landed the role that would change his life (and our perception of his age forever). He played Aquaman in the TV series Smallville. Now, I don't know about you, but when I think of Aquaman, I think of a guy who's been around the block a few times. But Alan? He made the character his own and proved that even a superhero can look like he's barely out of his teens.

And then, of course, there's Batman v Superman and Justice League. Alan played Aquaman again, this time on the big screen. And while he might not have had as much screen time as some of the other heroes, he certainly made an impression. I mean, have you seen those abs?

So, How Old Is He?

Alright, alright, I'll cut to the chase. As of 2022, Alan Ritchson is 38 years old. I know, I know, it's hard to believe. But trust me, I did the math. And while he might look like he's barely old enough to drink, he's actually been around the block a few times. He's played a superhero, a college football player, and even a teenage witch's love interest. And he's done it all with a smile on his face and a six-pack to die for.

So, there you have it. The next time you're watching Titans and you find yourself wondering how old Alan Ritchson is, you can impress your friends with your newfound knowledge. And who knows? Maybe you'll even pick up some trivia for your next game night. Just don't blame me if you lose because you're too busy staring at his abs to pay attention to the questions.
