How Old Is Adora In She Ra

So, How Old Is Adora in She-Ra, Anyway?

You know, I was sitting here the other day, watching my niece play with her She-Ra action figure, and it got me thinking. I mean, I've seen the show, I know the story, but how old is Adora, really? I mean, she's the main character, right? Shouldn't we know this stuff?

Let's Dive In!

First things first, let's talk about the show. She-Ra and the Princesses of Power, or just She-Ra for short, is a Netflix original series that premiered in 2018. It's a reboot of the classic '80s cartoon, and it's all about this girl, Adora, who becomes the legendary warrior princess, She-Ra. But how old is she when all this happens?

Now, here's where it gets a bit tricky. The show doesn't give us a specific age for Adora. I mean, it's not like they put a big '16' on the screen when she's introduced, you know? But we can make some educated guesses.

Clues from the Show

So, we know that Adora is a teenager when she becomes She-Ra. She's been raised by the evil Horde, but when she finds the Sword of Protection and transforms into She-Ra, she's suddenly leading a rebellion against them. Now, I don't know about you, but I wasn't leading rebellions when I was a kid. Teenagers, right?

We also know that Adora's best friend, Catra, is around the same age. They've grown up together, and their relationship is a big part of the show. If Catra is a teenager, it makes sense that Adora is too. I mean, they're not exactly hanging out with a bunch of toddlers, are they?

Aging in the World of Eternia

But here's where things get a bit weird. In the world of Eternia, where She-Ra takes place, people seem to age differently than they do here. I mean, Queen Angella, Adora's mom, looks like she's in her 30s, but she's actually over a thousand years old. I know, right? I wish I looked that good at my age!

So, does that mean Adora could be older than she looks? It's possible, I guess. But considering the show's target audience is kids, I think it's safe to assume that Adora is a teenager. I mean, it's not like they're going to make a show about a thousand-year-old warrior princess, right?

So, What's the Verdict?

Alright, so we've talked about the show, we've talked about the clues, and we've talked about the weird aging thing in Eternia. But what's the bottom line? How old is Adora?

Well, my friends, I think it's safe to say that Adora is a teenager. She's probably around 16 or 17, give or take a year. But remember, this is all just speculation. The show doesn't give us a specific age, so we're left to draw our own conclusions.

And that's okay! It's part of the fun of watching a show like She-Ra. We get to use our imaginations, we get to think critically, and we get to have some great conversations with our friends and family. So, what do you think? How old is Adora? Leave a comment and let me know!

Until next time, folks. Keep exploring the magical world of Eternia, and remember: She-Ra is the power!
