How Old Is Ac Dc Lead Singer

So, How Old Is AC/DC's Lead Singer, Brian Johnson?

Alright, let's dive into this like we're grabbing a cold one at the pub. You know AC/DC, right? Those Aussie rockers who've been giving us ear candy since the 70s. And at the helm, belting out those iconic tunes, is Brian Johnson. But just how old is this rock 'n' roll legend?

Born in the '40s, Rockin' in the '70s

Brian was born on October 5, 1947, in Dunston, Newcastle upon Tyne, England. That makes him a Libra, for all you astrology fans. Now, you might be thinking, "Wow, he was already a grown man when AC/DC started making waves!" And you'd be right.

But here's where it gets interesting. Brian didn't join AC/DC until 1980, after the tragic death of their original lead singer, Bon Scott. Brian was 32 when he took the mic, and the rest, as they say, is history.

Age is Just a Number, Rock 'n' Roll is Forever

So, Brian was in his 30s when he started his AC/DC journey. And let me tell you, he's been giving those young whippersnappers a run for their money ever since. The man's got more energy than a room full of hyperactive puppies!

In fact, Brian once said, "I've always been a late starter. I didn't start singing until I was 27, and I didn't start flying until I was 40." Now that's what we call making up for lost time!

Still Rockin' in His 70s

As of 2022, Brian is 74 years young. And guess what? He's still out there, touring the world, and giving us all a reason to crank up the volume. That's right, folks, Brian Johnson is a living, breathing testament to the power of rock 'n' roll.

Now, you might be wondering, "How does he do it?" Well, apart from his obvious love for music, Brian's got a few tricks up his sleeve. He's a bit of a fitness fanatic, for one. He's also a bit of a petrolhead, with a soft spot for fast cars. And let's not forget his love for flying. Yep, Brian's a licensed pilot!

More Than Just a Rock Star

But Brian's not just a rock star; he's a bit of a national treasure in Australia. He was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia in 2003 for his services to music and the community. And let's not forget his charity work. Brian's been a long-time supporter of the UK charity Nordoff Robbins, which uses music therapy to help people with a range of needs.

So, there you have it. Brian Johnson, the man, the myth, the legend, is 74 years young. And if you ask me, he's not showing any signs of slowing down. After all, as Brian himself once said, "Rock 'n' roll ain't noise pollution, it's a music revolution!"
