How Old Is Abigail In Rdr2

Alright, gather 'round, folks! Today, we're saddling up and riding into the wild, wild world of Red Dead Redemption 2 to answer a question that's been ticklin' our curiosity: just how old is Abigail, the feisty and fabulous leader of the Van der Linde gang?

First Things First: When's Her Birthday?

Now, you might be thinkin', "Well, how are we supposed to know that? The game doesn't just come out and say it!" And you'd be right, it doesn't. But don't you worry, we've got our detective hats on, and we're about to crack this case wide open.

First, let's look at the game's timeline. Red Dead Redemption 2 takes place in 1899, and Abigail is introduced as a member of the gang. She's got a grown son, Jack, who's around 15 years old at this point. So, we can do a little math here:

    Jack's age - 15
Abigail's age when she had Jack - let's say 18 (because, you know, she was probably a teenager herself when she had him)
    Abigail's current age - 18 + 15 = 33

But Wait, There's More!

Now, we know what you're thinkin': "That's all well and good, but what about the events of Red Dead Redemption? We see Abigail again in that game, and she's still lookin' mighty fine!" And you're right again, she sure is. So, let's do a little more math:

Red Dead Redemption takes place in 1911, which is 12 years after Red Dead Redemption 2.
So, if Abigail was 33 in 1899,
    she'd be 45 in 1911.

So, How Old Is She?

Alright, folks, we've done the math, and we've come to a conclusion. Based on the timeline of the games and the ages of her family members, Abigail is 33 years old in Red Dead Redemption 2 and 45 in Red Dead Redemption.
