How Old Are The Pj Masks

Ever wondered how old those adorable Pj Masks are? You know, the ones who save the day in their pajamas? Let's dive in and find out, shall we?

Meet the Pj Masks

First things first, let's introduce our heroes. We've got Amaya, the brave and clever leader, Greg, the super strong and kind one, and Lucas, the speedy and funny guy. They're not your average kids, though. When the sun goes down, they transform into their superhero alter egos: Catboy, Gekko, and Owlette.

So, how old are they?

Well, it's a bit tricky. You see, the Pj Masks are based on a French series called Les Pyjamasques, which premiered in 2015. But our little heroes are actually inspired by classic comic book characters from the '60s! Talk about a blast from the past!

Now, the show's creators, Entertainment One and France Télévisions, haven't given us a specific age. But if we go by the original comic, the characters were teenagers. However, the TV show portrays them as younger kids, around 6-7 years old. Isn't that cute?

Quirky Facts

Here's where things get interesting. In the French version, the Pj Masks speak French, obviously. But did you know that in the English version, they speak in a made-up language? It's called Pajamaram, and it's a mix of French, English, and some gibberish. Isn't that just the quirkiest thing?

And get this, the Pj Masks' powers aren't just for show. The kids who voice them in the English version actually did some of the stunts themselves! Can you imagine little voice actors jumping off walls and swinging from vines? Talk about a dream job!

Why We Love Them

So, why are the Pj Masks so darn lovable? Well, for one, they teach kids about teamwork, bravery, and friendship. Plus, they're just plain fun! Who wouldn't want to watch a show where kids turn into superheroes in their pajamas?

And let's not forget the catchy theme song. You know you've sung along to "Pj Masks, we're on our way, into the night, to save the day!" at least once. Admit it, you're smiling right now!

So there you have it, folks. The Pj Masks might be a mystery when it comes to their age, but one thing's for sure - they're here to stay. And we're not complaining. After all, who doesn't need a little heroism in their life?
