How Old Are The Characters In Wednesday

Have you ever wondered how old the characters in Wednesday actually are? It is a question that pops up often among fans of the hit Netflix series. The show gives us a dark twist on boarding school life, and age plays a huge role.

The Main Character's Age

Wednesday Addams herself is 18 years old. She is navigating high school, just like any other teen. But instead of worrying about prom, she is solving ancient mysteries and fighting monsters.

Being 18 means she is on the cusp of adulthood. It is the perfect time to discover dark secrets and supernatural powers. Her youth makes the horror feel even more intense for the viewers.

The Outcasts of Nevermore

Her roommate, Enid Sinclair, is also 18. Enid brings bright energy to the gloomy campus. She is literally a werewolf, which makes her transformation a cool contrast to Wednesday's gloom.

Then there is Xavier Thorpe, the brooding artist. He is 18 too, sharing the same halls with Wednesday. Have you noticed how his psychic paintings cause trouble and make his supernatural talents unsettling?

What about the other students at the academy? Many of them are 18 as well, trying to survive the night. They are typical high schoolers, except for the monster-hunting thing, making it a wild ride for everyone.

The Adult Figures

Not everyone at Nevermore Academy is a teenager, though. Principal Weems is an older adult who keeps the school in order. Her authority is constantly challenged by the strange events on campus.

Dr. Valerie Kinbott is another grown-up in the mix. She is a therapist trying to help the students cope with their trauma. Her wisdom is a grounding force amidst all the chaos.

Ancient Connections

What about the ancestors? Goody Addams is centuries old. She was a powerful witch who lived hundreds of years ago. Her spirit is summoned to guide Wednesday through her darkest moments.

The Hyde, Garrett, is also quite ancient. He has been alive for a very long time, meaning his age is measured in centuries, not years. He is a relic of a much darker, scarier time.

Why Age Matters So Much

So why does it matter how old they are? Being 18 means they are on the cusp of adulthood. It is the perfect time to discover dark secrets and fight evil forces.

The show uses teen angst to fuel the horror. When you are 18, everything feels like a life-or-death situation, right? The characters' youth makes their monstrous encounters feel even more intense than usual.

It is cool to see young heroes tackle dark forces. They are not just kids playing at being heroes. They are truly fighting for their lives every single day at Nevermore.

The Final Verdict

Most of the main cast is 18 years old. They are typical high schoolers, except for the monster-hunting thing. It is a fascinating show to explore if you love the Addams family lore.

The older characters add necessary depth to the story. They provide the history and rules of the supernatural world. Without them, Wednesday's journey would make no sense at all.

Ultimately, the ages of the characters make the show feel relatable. We have all felt like outsiders at some point. Wednesday just happens to be a literal outsider fighting evil.

So next time you watch the series, pay attention to those birthdays. Age is just a number, especially when you are a monster hunter. It is a cool show to explore.

The mix of young teens and ancient beings creates a unique vibe. It shows that growing up is weird, even if you are a witch. Wednesday captures that perfectly for audiences everywhere.
