How Old Are Members Of Reo Speedwagon

Have you ever wondered how old the legends behind Keep On Loving You really are? It turns out the members of Reo Speedwagon are absolutely timeless, just like their chart-topping hits. Let us dive into the ages of these rock icons and see why their legacy continues to make life so much fun.

The Original Titans

The band was founded way back in 1967, so some of the founding members are gracefully pushing into their seventies. Neal Doughty, the legendary keyboardist, was born in 1948, making him about seventy-five years young today. Can you imagine the incredible wisdom he has stored inside those piano keys over all these decades?

Kevin Cronin: The Heart of the Band

As the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist, Kevin Cronin has been the vibrant voice of the band for several generations. He was born in 1951, which means he is currently around seventy-three years old and still going strong. Honestly, he looks and sounds better now than he did in the eighties, and that is seriously impressive.

The Steady Rhythm Section

You cannot talk about the band without mentioning the amazing guys who keep the groove alive and kicking. Bruce Hall has been pumping out those iconic basslines since 1970, and he is about seventy-one years old today. Meanwhile, Bryan Hitt joined the drumming throne in 1989 and is currently cruising through his late sixties with perfect energy.

Guitar and Keyboard Wizards

Then there are the incredible instrumentalists who layer those massive sounds we all know and absolutely love. Dave Amato took over lead guitar duties in 1989, and he is currently around seventy-one years old as well. On the keys, Joe Vannelli brings incredible magic, having been born in 1950, which puts him at about seventy-three.

So, why does knowing their ages make life more fun? It reminds us that passion does not have an expiration date whatsoever. These guys are proving that age is just a silly little number when you are doing what you truly love every single day.
