How Is Old Is Messi

So, you're wondering, "How old is Messi, anyway?" Well, buckle up, because we're about to embark on a journey through time, football fields, and a few grey hairs.

Let's Start at the Beginning

Lionel Messi, the little magician from Argentina, was born on June 24, 1987. That's right, folks! He's a summer baby, which explains his sunny disposition on the pitch. Now, let's do some math. If you're reading this in 2022, that makes Messi... 35 years old. But who's counting?

To put that into perspective, when Messi was born, Ronald Reagan was still the U.S. President, and the Berlin Wall was still standing. And if you're under 30, you might want to sit down for this - the first Guitar Hero game was released when Messi was already a professional footballer!

From Baby Steps to Goal Scoring Machines

Messi started playing football at the age of 5. Yes, you read that right. The kid was barely out of diapers, and he was already dribbling past defenders. By the time he was 13, he was diagnosed with a growth hormone deficiency. But fear not, his club, Barcelona, footed the bill for his treatment, and the rest, as they say, is history.

Messi made his first-team debut for Barcelona in 2004, at the tender age of 16. He scored his first senior goal just a year later, becoming the youngest goalscorer in Barcelona's history. And the rest, as they also say, is glory.

Age is Just a Number, Right?

Now, you might be thinking, "35? That's ancient in football years!" Well, let me stop you right there. Footballers these days are like fine wine; they just keep getting better with age. Take a look at some of the oldest players still going strong:

• Tom Brady, the American football quarterback, is 44 and still winning Super Bowls.
• Kazuyoshi Miura, a Japanese footballer, is 54 and still playing professional football. Yes, you read that right. Fifty-four!

So, Messi at 35? He's just getting started. Besides, have you seen his hairline? It's barely moved an inch since he was a teenager. If anything, we're aging faster than him!

Messi's Ageless Wonder Goals

Messi's not just about the goals; he's about the style. He's scored over 750 goals in his career, and each one is a masterclass in finesse. He's scored goals with both feet, his head, his chest, and even his back. Yes, you read that right. The back!

In football years? He's a wise old sage, a veteran of the game, a living legend. In real years? He's 35, with a few grey hairs and a whole lot of wisdom. But most importantly, he's still the little magician who makes us believe in the impossible, one goal at a time.

And there you have it, folks! Messi's age, in a nutshell. Now, who's ready to watch some highlights and feel old together?
