Born in Toronto, 1986

Drake, born Aubrey Drake Graham, came into the world on October 24, 1986, in Toronto, Canada. That makes him a Libra, for all you astrology fans out there. Now, you might be thinking, "Wow, he's been around for a while!" But let's put that into perspective.

In 1986, Ferris Bueller's Day Off was the hottest movie, and The Oprah Winfrey Show was just starting its run. Meanwhile, Drake's parents were busy bringing a future superstar into the world.

From 'Degrassi' to 'So Far Gone'

Before he was the 6 God, Drake was a kid on the Canadian teen drama, Degrassi: The Next Generation. He played Jimmy Brooks, a wheelchair-bound character after a school shooting. It was a heavy role, but it laid the groundwork for his acting career and introduced him to the world.

Drake Before And After

Fast forward to 2006, Drake dropped his first mixtape, Room for Improvement. Then, in 2009, he released So Far Gone, which featured hits like "Best I Ever Had" and "Successful." This was the moment that launched Drake into the stratosphere of music stardom.

From 'Take Care' to 'Certified Lover Boy'

Since then, Drake has been on a musical rollercoaster, dropping hit after hit. His albums Take Care (2011), Views (2016), and Scorpion (2018) have all broken records and spent weeks at the top of the charts. And let's not forget his latest album, Certified Lover Boy, which dropped in 2021.

Now, you might be thinking, "Okay, so he's been making music for a while, but how old is he really?" Well, as of 2022, Drake is 35 years old. That's right, he's in his mid-thirties, and he's showing no signs of slowing down.
