Female Old Hollyoaks Cast

Hey there, soap opera fans! Let's dish the dirt on the fabulous females of Hollyoaks, the Channel 4 drama that's been serving up soap suds since 1995. Buckle up, 'cause we're diving into the world of Chester's most dramatic residents, one hilarious quirk at a time.

Meet the OG's

First things first, let's give a round of applause to the original Hollyoaks ladies. We're talking about the likes of Mandy Morgan (Sarah Jayne Dunn), who's been around since day one, and Bryony Mitchell (Zaraah Abrahams), who's had more career changes than we can count on both hands.

Now, you might be wondering, "How on earth have these women survived the rollercoaster that is Hollyoaks?" Well, my friend, it's all about reinvention. These ladies have played more characters than a Doctor Who Christmas special. We're talking secret twins, amnesia, and even a spot of time travel - yes, really!

Feuding Frenemies

No soap opera would be complete without a good old-fashioned catfight, and Hollyoaks has served up some corkers. Remember the McQueen sisters? They've got more beef between them than a butcher's shop on a Saturday.

Then there's the Devereux clan. They're like the Corleones of Chester, with Sylvia (Phyllis Logan) at the helm. She's the matriarch who's not afraid to get her hands dirty - or, you know, hire someone else to do it for her.

Love triangles, or should we say, octagons?

Hollyoaks is famous for its love triangles, but sometimes those triangles become octagons - yes, you read that right. We're talking about the time Dodger Savage (Danny Mac) had more lovers than a French farce.

And let's not forget the time Hannah Ashworth (Emma Atkins) had a quadruple love triangle. Yes, you heard it here first - Hollyoaks does quadruple love triangles. Who knew?

Quirky careers

Hollyoaks isn't just about the drama, oh no. It's also about the career changes. We've seen characters go from doctor to drug dealer, teacher to stripper, and even veterinarian to vampire. Yes, really!

What happened to Hollyoaks' original cast?

And let's not forget the time Steph Dean (Carley Stenson) became a professional matchmaker. Because, you know, that's a totally normal career choice in Chester.

Why we love 'em

So, why do we keep tuning in to Hollyoaks, year after year? Well, my friend, it's because these women are fierce, funny, and fabulous. They're not afraid to take risks, and they always - always - bring the drama.

Plus, let's face it, where else are you going to see a vampire running a nightclub? Nowhere, that's where. So, grab your popcorn, settle in, and get ready for another rollercoaster ride in the wild, wonderful world of Hollyoaks.
