Evan Goldberg Movies And Tv Shows

So, you want to know about Evan Goldberg? He's basically the wizard behind some of the funniest movies and wildest TV shows out there. Honestly, if you love laughing until your stomach hurts, you owe this guy a thank you.

Goldberg didn't just stumble into Hollywood by accident. He started his career by scribbling hilarious jokes with his best buddy, Seth Rogen, way back when. Together, they turned a shared love for stoner comedies into a genuine cinematic empire.

Movie Magic with Seth Rogen

When you think of Goldberg, Superbad is the first thing that should pop into your head immediately. That 2007 classic basically defined teenage awkwardness for an entire generation of moviegoers everywhere. It is a movie where Jonah Hill and Michael Cera get into the most ridiculous situations imaginable.

Before that legendary hit, though, he helped write Pineapple Express. Can you even imagine a movie where James Franco and Seth Rogen are being chased by a ruthless drug dealer? It sounds absolutely insane, but that is exactly why it works so well.

Then came The Interview, which caused quite a bit of a global stir in the media. Let's just say the plot involved assassinating a North Korean dictator, and things got pretty heated. Goldberg and Rogen turned a controversial premise into a massive blockbuster that people still quote.

The Apocalyptic Comedy Wave

If you loved the idea of the world ending in spectacular fashion, This Is the End was made for you. Goldberg co-wrote and produced this masterpiece where a group of celebrities are trapped in a house during the apocalypse. Honestly, watching James Franco and Jonah Hill fight over a bottle of water is pure cinematic gold.

He didn't stop there, though. The Disaster Artist took a deep dive into the making of the infamous film The Room. It is a hilarious look at how a movie can be so bad that it becomes brilliant. Tommy Wiseau's performance is legendary, and Goldberg helped capture that chaotic energy perfectly.

Moving Beyond the R-Rated Laughs

You might think Goldberg only does movies about drugs and the end of the world, but he has a wider creative range. Good Boys proved that he could also write hilarious stories about sixth graders getting into way over their heads. It is a surprisingly heartfelt comedy that hits different than his usual adult fare.

Television Triumphs

Of course, Goldberg didn't just conquer the big screen; he also made a massive splash on television. Preacher was a dark, twisted show based on the beloved comic books. It followed a Texas preacher who gets supernatural powers, and honestly, it was a total blast to watch.

But the real TV game-changer for him was The Boys. This show flipped the superhero genre on its head in the most brutal and hilarious way possible. Goldberg serves as an executive producer, making sure the satire stays sharp and the action stays insane.

Fans of animated series also have him to thank for Invincible. This show is incredibly violent, emotional, and surprisingly deep all at once. It has quickly become one of the best animated series ever made, and Goldberg helped bring that graphic novel to life.
