Dracula Untold Movie Cast

Meet the Gang: Dracula Untold's Fabulous Cast

Hey there, movie buffs! Let's dive into the spooktacular world of Dracula Untold, shall we? You know, that film that's got us all excited about vampires again. And guess who's making it all happen? A cast so awesome, they could give Dracula a run for his money. Let's meet 'em!

Luke Evans as Vlad the Impaler

First up, we've got our leading man, Luke Evans. You might know him from The Hobbit series, where he played Bard the Bowman. Well, he's trading his bow for a crown this time, playing the legendary Vlad the Impaler. Luke brings a perfect mix of strength and vulnerability to the role, making us root for Vlad even when he's, you know, being a bit of a monster.

And let's talk about that accent! It's like butter, smooth and rich. It's enough to make you forget he's actually Welsh. But shh, don't tell him we told you. We want him to keep surprising us with those unexpected vowels.

Sarah Gadon as Mirena

Now, who's the lucky lady by Vlad's side? None other than Sarah Gadon, our Mirena. You might've seen her in Crimson Peak or Dracula (yes, another Dracula! This one's a TV series, though). Sarah brings a quiet strength to Mirena, making her a perfect match for our complex Vlad.

Plus, she's Canadian, which means she's automatically nice, right? (Sorry, we couldn't resist. We're just jealous of their poutine.)

Charles Dance as Master Vampire

And who's the big bad? None other than Charles Dance, our Master Vampire. You know him from Game of Thrones as the always-elegant Tywin Lannister. Here, he's trading his Lannister gold for some serious vampire swag.

Charles brings that same commanding presence to the role, making us shiver in our seats. But don't worry, he's still got that dry wit that made Tywin so delightful. Just, you know, with more fangs.

Dominic Cooper as Mehmed II

Last but not least, we've got Dominic Cooper as Mehmed II, the Ottoman Sultan who's got his eyes on Vlad's lands. You might know Dominic from Captain America: The First Avenger or as the charming (and slightly mischievous) Jesse in Mamma Mia!

Dominic brings a perfect blend of charm and ruthlessness to Mehmed, making him a formidable foe for Vlad. Plus, he's British, so he's got that whole stiff upper lip thing going on. Which, let's be real, is kind of terrifying when he's threatening your kingdom.

Why We Love 'Em

So, why are we so excited about this cast? Well, for starters, they're all incredibly talented. But they're also just really, really fun to watch. They've got that perfect mix of drama, humor, and just the right amount of camp to make Dracula Untold a total blast.

Plus, they're all just really nice people. (Okay, we can't prove that last part, but we like to think it's true.) They've got that certain something that makes us want to join their vampire coven. (Again, don't tell them we said that. We don't want to give them any ideas.)
