Dracula Untold 2014 Cast

Meet the Gang: Dracula Untold's 2014 Cast

Ever wondered who's behind the fangs and capes in Dracula Untold? Let's take a chill pill and dive into the cast of this 2014 flick, shall we?

Luke Evans as Vlad the Impaler

Now, you might recognize Luke from his other roles, like the dashing Gaston in Beauty and the Beast. But in Dracula Untold, he's the man, the myth, the legend - Vlad the Impaler himself. Talk about a career switch, right?

Luke brings this intense, brooding energy to Vlad, making us root for him even when he's, well, drinking blood. It's like he's playing a dark, twisted version of his other iconic roles. Pretty cool, huh?

Sarah Gadon as Mirena

Next up, we've got Sarah Gadon as Vlad's long-suffering wife, Mirena. You might've seen her in Enemy or Cosmopolis, but she's absolutely stunning in this role.

Mirena's the heart of the film, keeping Vlad grounded even when he's losing his humanity. Sarah nails this complex, emotional role, making us care about Mirena just as much as Vlad.

Charles Dance as Master Vampire

Now, if you're a Game of Thrones fan, you'll recognize Charles Dance as the always-elegant Tywin Lannister. But in Dracula Untold, he's the original badass vampire, the Master.

Charles brings this quiet intensity to the role, making the Master a formidable foe. It's like watching a chess match between him and Vlad, with the fate of humanity on the line. Pretty intense stuff, huh?

Dominic Cooper as Mehmed II

Last but not least, we've got Dominic Cooper as Vlad's arch-nemesis, Mehmed II. You might know Dominic from his roles in Captain America: The First Avenger or Mamma Mia!, but he's all business in this film.

Mehmed's a ruthless, power-hungry sultan, and Dominic plays him with this cold, calculating edge. It's like watching a real-life game of thrones, with Vlad and Mehmed as the main players.

So, Why Should You Care?

Well, aside from the whole 'vampires are cool' thing, Dracula Untold's cast is pretty darn impressive. Each actor brings something unique to their role, making this film a fun watch even if you're not a huge vampire fan.

Plus, it's always interesting to see actors take on different roles, right? Like, who would've thought Luke Evans could pull off a convincing vampire? But he does, and it's pretty awesome to see.

So, if you're in the mood for a chill, action-packed film with a stellar cast, give Dracula Untold a shot. Who knows? You might just find yourself rooting for the big bad vampire himself.
