Jog Your Memory: The Main Squad

First up, we've got our leading lady, Kirsten Dunst. You might know her from her Spidey days or that time she played a teen queen in Bring It On. In The Village, she's Ivy Elizabeth Walker, the blind girl with a heart full of courage.

Then there's our swoon-worthy hero, Joaquin Phoenix. This guy's no stranger to the weird and wonderful, having played a tree in Her and a creepy Commodus in Gladiator. Here, he's Lucius Hunt, the guy with a heart full of secrets.

And who could forget the wise old crone, Bryce Dallas Howard? Yep, Ron Howard's daughter! She's always been a Shyamalan fave, playing a blind girl in Signs and a blind girl's mom in Lady in the Water. Here, she's the enigmatic Katie, the girl with a heart full of mystery.

Supporting Acts: The Oddballs and the Adorable

Now, let's talk about Adrien Brody. This guy won an Oscar for The Pianist, but in The Village, he's just a guy with a weird accent and an even weirder mustache. He's Noah Percy, the guy with a heart full of... well, you get the idea.

Then there's Sigourney Weaver. Yes, that Sigourney Weaver. She's played a badass space warrior, a kickass alien hunter, and now, she's playing a kickass old lady. She's Alice Hunt, the wise and wonderful matriarch of the village.
