Welcome to the '70s: The Six Million Dollar Man Era

Now, let's set the wayback machine to the '70s. Picture this: it's the height of the Cold War, disco is king, and Lee Majors is about to become a household name. Enter The Six Million Dollar Man, a TV show that was like the original superhero series. Majors played Steve Austin, a former astronaut with bionic implants, fighting the good fight against evil doers. With that iconic theme song and those slow-motion running scenes, it was must-see TV!

But here's the thing, folks. Lee Majors wasn't just some pretty face. He was a man of many talents. He could act, he could fight, and he could even sing! That's right, he sang the show's theme song himself. Talk about a triple threat!

The '80s: The Fall Guy and Beyond

As the '70s gave way to the '80s, Majors was back at it again with The Fall Guy. This time, he was playing Colt Seavers, a Hollywood stuntman turned bounty hunter. With his trusty sidekick, a little dog named Lobo, Majors was once again kicking butt and taking names. And let's not forget the iconic theme song, "The Fall Guy" by Western Union. You know you're humming it right now!

But more than that, Lee Majors is a reminder of a simpler time. A time when TV was about heroes, not antiheroes. When action was about thrills, not gore. When a catchy theme song could make a show a hit. And let's face it, folks, we could all use a little more of that in our lives.
