Brad Pitt: The Original Silver Fox

When Troy hit the big screens, Brad Pitt was a cool 40 years old. Now, I know what you're thinking, "40? That's not old!" And you're right. But back in 2004, 40 was the new 30, and Pitt was already a Hollywood heavyweight. He'd been around the block a few times, having made his debut in the '80s with films like The Dark Side of the Sun and Cutting Class.

By the time Troy rolled around, Pitt was a seasoned actor, known for his roles in films like Fight Club, Seven, and Ocean's Eleven. He was the original silver fox, with a career that spanned two decades and showed no signs of slowing down.

Age is Just a Number, Right?

So, why should we care about Brad Pitt's age in Troy? Well, for starters, it's a testament to the fact that age is just a number. Pitt was 40, but he was playing Achilles, a warrior who was supposedly in his prime. Pitt's performance proved that you don't need to be a spring chicken to play a hero.

Think about it like this: When you're 40, you've got life experience under your belt. You've seen things, done things, and you've got a certain... je ne sais quoi. That's what Pitt brought to the table in Troy. He was older, wiser, and he looked damn good doing it.
