Actors In Dracula Untold

Dracula's Got Talent! A Chat with the Stars of Untold

Hey there, movie buffs! Ever wondered what it's like to step into the shoes of a legendary vampire? Well, buckle up as we dive into the world of Dracula Untold, and chat with the actors who brought this classic tale to life. Spoiler alert: they're not your typical fang-tastic bunch!

Meet the Man Behind the Fangs

First up, we've got our leading man, Luke Evans. You might know him from The Hobbit trilogy or Fast & Furious 6, but this time, he's trading in his hobbit feet for a pair of pointy teeth. Luke told us, "Playing Dracula was a dream come true. I mean, who wouldn't want to spend their days sipping on... er, I mean, acting out ancient legends?"

But it wasn't all fun and games. Luke had to train like a beast (pun intended) to pull off the role. "I worked with a stunt team to master the art of vampire combat. Let me tell you, trying to look graceful while leaping through the air is no easy task!"

Lady in Red: Sarah Gadon

Next, we've got the lovely Sarah Gadon, who plays Dracula's wife, Mirena. Sarah's no stranger to period pieces, having starred in Belle and Crimson Peak. But even she was taken aback by the intensity of her scenes with Luke. "Working with Luke was incredible. We had this amazing on-screen chemistry, and I think it really shows in the film."

Sarah also shared some insights into her character. "Mirena is this strong, loving wife who's willing to do anything to protect her family. I think there's a bit of her in all of us, and that's what makes her such a relatable character."

Vlad's BFF: Charles Dance

Last but not least, we've got the incomparable Charles Dance, who plays the villainous Master Vampire. You know him as Tywin Lannister from Game of Thrones, so you can imagine he knows a thing or two about playing a bad guy.

But even Charles was excited about this role. "Playing a vampire was a whole new challenge. I mean, who wouldn't want to spend their days lounging in a coffin and striking fear into the hearts of men?" he joked.
